WARRANTY

 

PRODUCTS WARRANTY –  EXTENDED WARRANTY – RETURN POLICY – SHIPPING / HANDLING

WARRANTY POLICY:

SIB Electric inc. guarantees its products against any defects of material and manpower, of normal usage. This warranty excludes cases where the device has been subjected to excessive frequency and / or voltage, and / or it has been overloaded, and / or the ventilation is incorrect and / or inappropriate use has been made, and / or in the case where the merchandise will have been modified and / or altered by anyone not mandated by SIB Électrique inc. For a period of one year from the date of shipment, the defective equipment will be repaired free of charge by our technicians, replaced or refunded (if we do not have the equivalent equipment), when returned F.A.B. our factory.

This Warranty is in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, by the company or its representatives and such warranty is also a legal warranty or a warranty or liability imposed by some law. The responsibility of the company is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the products of the company and no responsibility will be assumed for any consequent damages, whatever they are, whether they are contractual or tortious.

Fuses, relays, measuring instruments, motors, air conditioning, tools and equipment are NOT GUARANTEED.

Capacitors, as well as heaters and lighting are guaranteed for 3 MONTHS.

Unless mentioned otherwise, all other products sold by SIB Électrique inc. are guaranteed for 12 MONTHS.

 

EXTENDED WARRANTY:

The Extended Warranty is only available to specific products like certain breakers, etc. and it will be shown as an option to be selected under those specific products only.
The 2 years or 3 years Extended Warranty is effective from the date of purchase and includes the 1 year regular warranty mentioned in our warranty policy above. All of the regular warranty policy applies to the Extended Warranty.


RETURN POLICY:

MERCHANDISE RETURN:
We accept return if the part ordered has not been used and unpacked and thus in perfect condition within 15 days of purchase date. Transportation costs are your responsibility. Contact us to make arrangements and to receive a return authorization number.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS:
In case of a defective component, we will replace the defective part at no charge as per our warranty specifies, shipping charges will be your responsibility. Contact us to make arrangements and to receive a return authorization number.

SHIPPING / HANDLING:

Handling time will differ from products categories or products types, if the product has not been tested or need to be reconditioned, we will notify you in advance.
Shipping cost might be different in some rare cases after your checkout and we will contact you to correct the situation. This might happen because we carry a wide selection of products that can be shipped all over Canada and USA with some being very heavy or need a special carrier or… Our system cannot always correctly allocate the correct shipping cost in those cases.
