“GENERIC” BRAND MEANING
GENERIC is used in few ways in our online store, since we sell both New Surplus and Used electrical products, we sometimes do not see on the product what is the specific brand so we call it GENERIC, also, if we have many of the same product available in many different brands, we might list this product as GENERIC, ie: Safety Switches. In this case you can ask for a specific brand before buying or buy it and in the notes section at checkout you may specify your preferences and we will supply it if available.

NEW and USED SURPLUS
– New Surplus: a part that is new but comes from factory inventory or elsewhere and/or does not have its original packaging
– Used Tested: A part that has already been use but that we have tested to validate its proper functioning before resale. In some cases the part can be repainted if required and repaired if applicable.

TESTED PRODUCTS
We are equipped to test every product we sell (when possible) with all needed test equipment like HIPOT test (dielectric strength test), Continuity test, Load test, etc…

RECONDITIONNED PRODUCTS / PAINT
We have a big modern paint shop that is used daily to paint all our Used product if needed, meaning that if the product does not meet our quality control it will go through our paint shop. This might cause some delays on your order and we will notify you if it is the case.

PRODUCT NUMBER, MPN or SKU with -R and -N or no dash
-R or -N are used internally for us to differentiate if they are Reconditioned/Used (-R) or New Surplus (-N) they are NOT part of original part number.

HANDLING TIME / SHIPPING
Handling time will differ from products categories or products types, if the product has not been tested or need to be reconditioned, we will notify you in advance.
Shipping cost might be different in some rare cases after your checkout and we will contact you to correct the situation. This might happen because we carry a wide selection of products that can be shipped all over Canada and USA with some being very heavy or need a special carrier or… Our system cannot always correctly allocate the correct shipping cost in those cases.

Extended warranty is only available on some specific products, but you can make a special request if it does not show as an option on your selected product.
