Main responsablilities
Sib Électrique (Generator Division) is a rapidly growing local company specializing in the sale, purchase, repair, and maintenance of generators. Our offices are located in Sherbrooke, but our technicians travel throughout the Estrie region and beyond to perform maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial customers,
The generator technician reports to the service manager.
Perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on generators.
We are looking for someone who is available and flexible, as we occasionally need to work evenings and weekends to handle emergency calls. Independence and a sense of initiative are essential, as you will be working on your own. You must be able to meet deadlines for specific tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues are appreciated. Adaptability is necessary, as you will be working on various generator brands and models. You must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, as you will regularly work outdoors year-round.
Requirements
Education :
Vocational Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Years of relevant work experience :
3–5 years of experience
Skills :
- Positive, independent, resourceful, hands-on, eager to learn, a team player, and detail-oriented
- A valid driver's license is required.
Language :
French (spoken and written)
English: intermediate
Working conditions
Salary :
$25 per hour or more, depending on experience
Number of hours per week:
40 hours per week / full-time, permanent day shift
Schedule :
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
