Warranties

Standard warranty

SIB Électrique Inc. warrants its product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.  This warranty excludes cases where the unit has been subjected to excessive frequency and/or voltage, and/or has been overloaded, and/or ventilation is inadequate, and/or it has been used in any inappropriate manner, and/or in cases where the product has been modified and/or altered by anyone not authorized by SIB Électrique Inc.

For a period of one year from the date of shipment, defective equipment will be repaired free of charge by our technicians, replaced, or refunded (if we do not have equivalent equipment), when returned freight prepaid to our factory.

This Warranty supersedes any other warranty, whether express or implied, made by the Company or its representatives, and this Warranty also supersedes any statutory warranty, obligation, or warranty imposed by any law. The Company’s liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the Company’s products, and the Company shall not be liable for any consequential damages of any kind, whether arising in contract or tort.

Fuses, relays, measuring instruments, motors, air conditioners, tools, and equipment, are not covered by the warranty.

Capacitors, as well as heating and lighting devices, are covered by a 3-month warranty.

Unless otherwise stated, all other materials sold by SIB Électrique Inc. are covered by a 12-month warranty.
