Available voltages
Our transformers are available in a variety of voltage configurations to suit your installations. Here are the most commonly used combinations:

Rated power (kVA)
The power rating of a transformer is expressed in kVA (kilovolt-amperes). This unit indicates the amount of power the transformer can deliver to a load at a given voltage and frequency without exceeding the specified temperature limit.
1 kVA = 1,000 VA (volt-amperes)

Standards and Compliance

The different types of transformers we offer
Isolation transformer
Also known as a two-winding transformer, this type of transformer electrically isolates the primary circuit from the secondary circuit. It is widely used for safety reasons and to protect equipment.
Autotransformer
An autotransformer is characterized by a single winding shared by both the primary and secondary windings. Less expensive than an isolation transformer, it is used when electrical isolation is not required, particularly for motors, heating systems, and certain industrial machines. It does not require a neutral conductor.
Encapsulated transformers
These transformers are cast in a mixture of silica sand and epoxy resin (or another insulating material) that completely encases the core and windings. They are therefore designed to operate in harsh environments (humidity, dust, corrosive fumes). This encapsulation makes them more durable, but also heavier. They are suitable for indoor or outdoor installations.
K-factor transformer
This transformer corrects distortions in the sine wave caused by harmonics, as it is specifically designed for nonlinear loads (computers, fax machines, variable-speed drives). It helps prevent overheating and excessive currents in the neutral line. It is ideally suited for use in three-phase Zig-Zag configurations.
Zig-Zag Transformer
This high-quality three-phase transformer is equipped with electrostatic shielding. It reduces harmonic currents in power supply networks, unlike the K-factor, which allows them to pass through. It is particularly useful in installations where power quality is critical.
Transformer for a variable-speed drive
Used to supply DC or AC power to variable-speed drives. It is suitable for industrial applications requiring precise motor speed control.
"Coast Guard" Transformer
This transformer is designed for use on boats, where conditions involving salt, corrosion, and vibration are particularly challenging. It is therefore intended for marine use.

NEMA 1
Ventilated enclosure for general use in indoor installations.
NEMA 2
Enhanced protection for indoor use against dust and light splashes of water.
NEMA 3
Enclosure suitable for indoor (sprinklers) or outdoor use, providing protection against the elements.
NEMA 4
Non-ventilated enclosure, suitable for indoor or outdoor use, providing protection against wind-driven rain, splashes, water jets (from hoses), and ice buildup.
NEMA 12
Non-ventilated indoor enclosure designed to protect against ambient dust, non-corrosive liquids, and other contaminants. Often used in refineries and industrial settings.
